The Weekend That Was

Hello, Monday!

How was you weekend? Mine was quite eventful. Let me fill you in thru these photos.

I ordered this Chowking’s Panda Pao for the little girl. Too cute to eat, no?

Photo 10-11-14, 1 06 47 PMWe roamed around the mall and saw this Primadonna flats. I think I want it. I didn’t it yet, though. What do you think?

Photo 10-11-14, 1 53 48 PMThe little girl had her flu vaccine so as a reward, I promised to take her to the loomband activity happening at the event center. Here she was making one. She didn’t finish it though because the first girl teaching her just left her in the middle of doing this desing. Good thing another girl approached her and taught her how to make a fishtail loomband which she finished herself.

Photo 10-12-14, 4 24 53 PMEverything was okay until night came. I woke up from a siesta at around 5:30PM and cooked pancit canton for me and the little girl for merienda. We had it with bread and coke. Around 7PM, my stomach started to ache. I though it was just the usual kabag pain I always had before. The pain got worse at around 9PM. No matter how much I changed position, the pain was not being relieved. I was finding it hard to breathe. Around 10:30PM, I was getting dizzy, my hands were shaking, and I was perspiring cold sweat. The husband decided to take me to the hospital. Good thing there was a new hospital just outside the subdivision. After a few minutes of interview, the nurse administered meds into my veins which took about 20 minutes to take effect. The pain started to go away. At 12MN, we were already out of the hospital.

The doctor said it was gastritis. In short, empacho. It was the first time I had it. The doctor also advised me to go through an ultrasound just to rule out gall stones since gastritis is an indication of gastritis. I went for an ultrasound this morning and thank God I was negative of gall stones.

Whew, what a way to cap off the weekend, right?

Well, that’s it for me. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. And let’s have a wonderful week ahead. Shall we?
