3 months since my last post? Really, that long?
A lot has happened in 3 months. I admit that aside from being busy, I got lazy to update this blog. One more thing, I don’t know what to do with it anymore. I don’t have anything interesting to blog about. I feel like I want to change the genre and the name. Should I just abandon this and start a new one? Or just do a makeover of this blog?
Suggestions? Recommendations? If there’s anyone out there who still reads this blog (or was there anyone ever?), your comment will be highly appreciated.
Bye for now. Will be back when I do.
Thank you very much!
So I’m starting something in this blog. A couple of weeks ago, an idea just popped in my head and I shared it with my fellow mommy bloggers from Mommy Bloggers Philippines. I asked them if they’re interested to be featured and good thing, I received a lot of responses. The idea is to feature someone here in the blog sharing her desk or work area where she blogs. The series will be called Where I Blog.
So before I start featuring anyone, I’ll have to share first my own work space. The goal here is to show the readers the real state of our desks. I, for one, admit that my desk is so not clutter-free (you will see in the photos later). One mom asked me if it has to be Pinterest-worthy. No. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be real. It needs to be you.
So here’s mine.
This is my desk. This is where I blog. I bought this desk from SM Home last year.
Top shelf – where I put my figurines and display items. I have quite a penchant for owls.
Second shelf – where I keep all papers, letters, documents, folders, envelopes, etc. You see that blue box, I shove everything there. 😀
Last shelf – of course, this is where my laptop goes and other stuff that I can put like my daughter’s school ribbon. 😀
So yes, this is the idea. The plan is to do the series on a weekly basis but still depends on when I will get the photos from the moms who signed up.
Do you like this idea? Are you excited to see what other moms’ desks look like? I am!
How was you weekend? Mine was quite eventful. Let me fill you in thru these photos.
I ordered this Chowking’s Panda Pao for the little girl. Too cute to eat, no?
We roamed around the mall and saw this Primadonna flats. I think I want it. I didn’t it yet, though. What do you think?
The little girl had her flu vaccine so as a reward, I promised to take her to the loomband activity happening at the event center. Here she was making one. She didn’t finish it though because the first girl teaching her just left her in the middle of doing this desing. Good thing another girl approached her and taught her how to make a fishtail loomband which she finished herself.
Then Sunday, we stayed home for laundry. I multitasked laundry and these fishtail loomband below.
Everything was okay until night came. I woke up from a siesta at around 5:30PM and cooked pancit canton for me and the little girl for merienda. We had it with bread and coke. Around 7PM, my stomach started to ache. I though it was just the usual kabag pain I always had before. The pain got worse at around 9PM. No matter how much I changed position, the pain was not being relieved. I was finding it hard to breathe. Around 10:30PM, I was getting dizzy, my hands were shaking, and I was perspiring cold sweat. The husband decided to take me to the hospital. Good thing there was a new hospital just outside the subdivision. After a few minutes of interview, the nurse administered meds into my veins which took about 20 minutes to take effect. The pain started to go away. At 12MN, we were already out of the hospital.
The doctor said it was gastritis. In short, empacho. It was the first time I had it. The doctor also advised me to go through an ultrasound just to rule out gall stones since gastritis is an indication of gastritis. I went for an ultrasound this morning and thank God I was negative of gall stones.
Whew, what a way to cap off the weekend, right?
Well, that’s it for me. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. And let’s have a wonderful week ahead. Shall we?
I’m back! Waddup?
What have you been up to? How was your long weekend?
I had not feeling well since Saturday. What a great way to start the weekend, right? My body was aching. I felt like there was a lump in my throat and I was a having a hard time swallowing.
I was supposed to do the laundry but postponed that until Monday when I was feeling a little better.
I didn’t go to work yesterday and today due to cough. I think that explains the lump in my throat during the weekend.
I watched Begin Again the other night. I loved it! Have you watched it? If not, you should! I especially love the soundtrack which I downloaded right after I watched the movie. I love Mark Ruffalo. I think he’s a great actor. And of course, how can you not love Adam Levine? Right?
I cooked garlic pasta earlier. I’ve been wanting to cook it since I tasted Amici’s Aglio e Olio which reminds me I want to go back to Amici. I bought the ingredients 2 weekends ago but I only had the time to cook it today. I followed the video below on how to cook it. My husband and the little girl loved it or so they said to not hurt my feelings. 🙂
That’s all my kwento for now. Will try to be back tomorrow.
In the meantime, like my Facebook page and follow me on Instagram for instant updates.
How’s the week been treating you?
If you’re not following me on Instagram, I’m reposting here my posts earlier today.
My view from my desk.
Saw this sticker inside the tricycle I was in this morning. I wanted to ask the driver if I could avail it. Lol!
